Dress Code Requirements


During your CWF Trip you will meet many people and will be representing your family, county, state, and the youth of Nebraska as well as America. Clothing and grooming reflect upon you, your family, and your delegation. The following requirements have been established and correspond to the activities outlined in the itinerary.

Day by Day Dress Requirements
June 4 - Casual
June 5 - Casual
June 6 - Casual
June 7- 12
Dressy Casual everyday
1 day 4-H Uniform (Khakis and Polo)(Capital Hill Day)
1 evening - casual (Game or Medieval Times)
1 afternoon very casual (muddy derby)
1 afternoon very conservative (National Cathedral)
June 13
Most of the day is Casual. In the evening you will need to
be dressy for the broadway show
June 14 - Casual
June 15
Casual. In the evening you will need to be dressy
for the Skylon Dinner.
June 16
Casual (prepare to get wet, raincoats provided)
June 17 - Casual
June 18 - Casual
Remember to bring your swimming suit
Remember to always wear comfortable shoes. I will allow you to wear nice, clean tennis shoes when on Capitol Hill. Remember to bring a jacket or a sweatshirt. The weather will change from location to location. The bus also can get chilly.

DEFINITIONS
Casual:
Comfortable clothing. T-shirts, shorts, jeans, running pants etc. Caps are permitted while touring. No hats in restaurants or while on Capitol Hill. When visiting the National Cathedral everyone must wear very conservative clothing, absolutely no tanks or short-shorts.
Remember to bring your swimming suit.
No Offensive Logos
No Slinky tanks
No midriff shirts
No short-shorts
No cut-off shorts or ripped jeans
Business Casual:
Dresses, slacks, nice shirts, etc.
Your uniform will work in this category too.
Uniform:
Official red CWF polo shirt
Khaki long pants or longer skirts, no capris
Comfortable shoes, tennis shoes are acceptable
Dressy:
Ladies: Nice dresses, 2 piece outfits, skirts, button-up tops etc. (Girls can wear heels, no walking will be taking place).
Men: Slacks, button shirts, tie, suit, very dressy polos.
Very Casual:
Prepare to get dirty and wet. There is a chance that this outfit may get stained etc. dress accordingly. - remember your footwear also.
