1. Write brief explanations of what the group saw, did or participated in each day. Your dairy writings will be posted on our blog throughout the trip.
2. You have been assigned specific days to cover and post updates on our blog.
3. Be sure to tell where the group went that day, what things you liked the most, include funny, sad, stupid or boring events that may have occurred during the day. You may want to include what you ate or even how much it cost you to eat. What was the hot souvenir item that everyone seemed to purchase that day.
4. Take official pictures for the group that can be posted on the blog.
5. Arrange for a group picture to be taken before we leave and several times throughout the trip.
6. Plan to coordinate with others to share pictures via the blog while gone.

June 18. This shoudl be 800 to 900 words in length with several group photos.
This article could be wrote while traveling home on the bus the final day.

1. Obtain a copy of the daily paper each day and review for the group news happenings in the Aoutside world@ each morning. Don=t forget Ann Landers and the comics.
2. Each committee member has been assigned one time to update the group while traveling.

1. Each of you should plan 10 to 15 minutes of get-acquainted activities for the first night of the trip. Keep in mind that these activities will have to be done on the bus, but we will be able to move around.
2. Learn some songs and be prepared to teach the group at informal gatherings or while on the bus.
3. Each of you should plan one other activity that can be done for fun.
4. Learn some recreational ideas to keep the group entertained as we travel. These may be active-type ideas of sedentaryBsuch as written gimmicks, etc.

Each of you are responsible for cleaning the bus each night before unloading at the hotels. I would suggest that fifteen minutes prior to arriving at the hotel, this committee organize a garbage sweep of the bus. Garbage bags will be available from the bus driver. This committee needs to encourage each 4-H=er to pick up after themselves. Each night a sponsor will be checking that the bus is cleaned thoroughly, if not this committee will be brought back onto the bus to clean up after the entire group.
1. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the busses throughout and after each day of travel.
2. En route to and from Washington, D.C., help distribute room keys and collect keys before departure and turn in to group sponsors or check-out desk.

Each of you need to be at your departure locations 30 minutes early and help the sponsors attach luggage tags and hand out t-shirts to each 4-H=er prior to our departure on June 4th.
Once on the road, this committee will be the first 4-H=ers off the bus to help set the luggage on the curb for the entire High Plains 4-H group.
Each morning plan to be at the bus at least 10 minutes early before loading to check in each peice of luggage and load it onto the bus. If a bag is missing a luggage tag, a sponsor should be notified immedietely. This committee needs to work together and everyone should do their part.
1. Organize the luggage and other travel gear as it is loaded onto the busses each day.
2. Unload the luggage for each participant to carry at each stopover.
3. Assist the sponsors as needed in transporting non-luggage items, if needed.
Brent will over see this committee. This committee should be the first ones off the bus at each hotel unless we are not sure where to unload. All committee members should be the first ones to the bus in the morning and be the only ones who load luggage onto the bus.

Each assigned member is responsible to bring a chest cooler with them on the bus. Please bring your cooler filled with ice when we depart on June 4.
Plan to arrive at you assigned departure location at least 15 minutes early to help the entire CWF group get no more than three beverages clearly marked in the coolers and packed in ice before we depart.
Each of the color groups will have a large container to hold all the beverages under the bus.
Once on the road, this committee needs to work together to dump water each night and re-ice each cooler each morning prior to our departure. Please plan ahead, this means being up a little early before the bus departs from each hotel. Be sure you select an appropriate place in the parking lot each evening/morning to drain the water out of the coolers.

Each 4-H=er is allowed to bring 6 beverage cans or bottles with them on the trip, but only three can be in a cooler at one time.
